We grew up in the same village, saw each other around, probably rolled their eyes at each other more than once. For years, we were just... there. Part of the same world, but not quite in each other's orbit. But then something shifted. The jokes got a little longer. The smiles got even wider. The conversations went a quite serious. And somewhere along the way, we’ve realised that the person who made us laugh the most, who understood our world—that person had been there the whole time. That's the kind of love we respect. The kind that doesn't rush. The kind that grows quietly, naturally, until one day we look at each other and realise we’ve already built something real. It's not flashy, but it's solid. It's ours.

That’s what makes this engagement and this wedding so special. It isn’t about a ring or a single magical moment—it’s the result of two people deciding, for 20 years, that no matter what happens, we still want to face life side by side. So when we finally said “yes” to making it official, it wasn’t the start of our love story. It was a beautiful confirmation of a promise we’ve already been keeping for a very long time.
